KEEP YOUR WATCH RUNNING
An automatic mechanical watch creates a special bond with its wearer: the movement of the wrist powers the internal rotor, which keeps the mainspring of the mechanism wound.
Most automatic watches offer a power reserve of between 40 and 80 hours. If the watch stops, it can be restarted by gently turning the crown clockwise for about 30–40 rotations.
To maintain its precision and reliability over time, periodic servicing at a specialized center is recommended.
Quartz watches are synonymous with precision and practicality. Powered by an internal battery, they guarantee reliable operation for several years without needing to be recharged.
When the battery runs out, it is important to replace it promptly to prevent any leaks or damage to the movement.
Always entrust battery replacement to qualified technicians to maintain the watch's performance.
Enemies of YOUR WATCH
Soaps, detergents, cosmetics, and perfumes can damage the watch case, strap, or finish. Before wearing your watch, make sure that creams and perfumes are fully absorbed into your skin. Also, avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to prevent discoloration of materials.
A watch's water resistance is not permanent and can decrease over time due to wear and tear on seals or impacts. If you frequently use your watch in water, periodic checks at a service center are recommended.
Always remember to:
- check that the crown is fully closed;
- avoid using leather straps in water;
- rinse the watch with fresh water after being in the sea;
- do not operate pushers or crowns underwater;
- avoid showers, steam, and sudden temperature changes.
Magnetic fields can affect the precision of movement, especially in mechanical watches, altering their proper functioning. Avoid leaving the watch near magnetic sources such as loudspeakers, tablets, smartphones or electronic devices.
Daily cleaning and maintenance
To keep your watch in optimal condition, clean it regularly using a soft microfiber cloth or a toothbrush with gentle bristles and lukewarm water.
Avoid harsh detergents, soaps, or chemicals that could damage the surfaces or leave residue in the delicate parts of the timepiece. For a more thorough cleaning, it is recommended to consult a specialized center.

Screw-down crown
In some models, a screw-down crown continues to guarantee a tighter seal for optimal water resistance, which becomes waterproof when the crown is fully screwed down. For a perfect seal, it is important to unscrew the crown correctly after use.
Speedometer
A speedometer measures speed based on the distance traveled between two fixed reference points.
Rotating bezel
The characteristic rotating bezel on a diver's watch allows the diver to measure elapsed time during a dive by aligning the 12 o'clock marker on the bezel with the minute hand.
Folding clasp
The watch clasp fastens the bracelet in two steps: unlike a simple pin buckle, if the folding clasp opens, the watch will not detach. The clasp should be cleaned like the rest of the watch, but no specific maintenance is required
